Terms of entry to Montalto Estate

  • All children aged 16 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, unless in the event of cancellation. All tickets will be offered subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Management reserve the right of admission, even when membership has been purchased.
  • In the case of being unable to open due to adverse weather conditions or any other reason beyond our control, management reserve the right to transfer pre-booked tickets to another suitable date.
  • A parking area is provided when you arrive for cars, bicycles and motorbikes. The car park may only be used if you are visiting Montalto Estate. If you leave you must take your vehicle with you. If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to have it clamped.
  • Management accepts no responsibility for possessions lost or stolen on the premises.
  • Unless otherwise indicated, all graphics, logos and commercial markings are registered trademarks. You may not use, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute or modify any trademarks in any way, including in advertising or publicity pertaining to or distribution of materials, without prior written consent.
  • Written permission is required for any filming or photography undertaken for commercial purposes and for the use of drones. Imagery from Montalto Estate are strictly not allowed to be uploaded to third-party seller sites.
  • Dogs are allowed into the trails and gardens but must be kept on a lead at all times and must be kept under control. You must clean up after your dog.
  • It is the responsibility of visitors to remain within the approved trails, walks, and garden routes, as detailed within the maps and leaflets provided.
  • Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.
  • For the safety of our visitors, our staff and our wildlife it is prohibited to take any of the following into Montalto Estate: weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles, alcohol, flammable liquids, portable bbq’s or other items that may cause injury.
  • Management reserve the right to make changes to these terms & conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • By entering the estate you are consenting for your image and likeness to be used in promotional material that may be created from photography/videography taken by Montalto Estate. If you do not wish to be in any photographs please inform a staff member and let the photographer know at the time of taking the picture. Please note there may be flash photography.
  • Last admission to the trails and gardens is 1 hour prior to closing.
  • Re-admission in the last hour is at supervisor discretion.

By accessing the website at http://www.montaltoestate.com, you are agreeing to be bound by the website Terms and Conditions of Use and all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

  1. Use License

We permit you to use the website and its content for the purposes for which it is intended, on an individual computing device with a single central processing unit. You may download to a local hard disk and print extracts from the website. This is the grant of a license – not a transfer of title – and under this license you may not do any of the following:

  • modify or copy the materials;
  • use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);

In addition, Montalto Estate does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results or reliability of the use of the materials on its website, on any other materials relating to Montalto Estate, or on any websites linked to this site.

In no event or circumstances shall Montalto Estate or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit due to business interruption) arising out of the use – or inability to use – the materials on the Montalto Estate website, even if Montalto Estate or an authorised representative has been notified either orally or in writing, of the possibility of such damage. Any claim relating to Montalto Estate’s website shall be governed by the laws of Northern Ireland without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

  1. Ticket/Gift voucher refund policy and transfer

Tickets cannot be refunded once they have been redeemed. However, if you have purchased a ticket online in advance and wish to change the date of the entry, please contact us at least 48 hours before the earliest date and, at the discretion of Montalto Estate, we will endeavour to find a solution.

Gift vouchers for tickets/membership/events cannot be returned, or otherwise redeemed for cash. When a gift voucher is redeemed, any remaining value will remain on the voucher for the duration of the voucher.

Terms and conditions of membership:

  • Members must bring their membership card with them to gain entry to the trails and gardens.
  • Entry is only available during normal opening hours.
  • Each adult member will receive a membership card in their name. Only the adult named on the membership card can gain access with this card. Members are advised to bring ID as spot checks will be undertaken.
  • There is a £5 charge to replace lost, stolen or damaged cards. This fee is also applicable should you want to change your membership type.
  • All children aged 16 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

If you cancel or are unable to use your membership at any stage refunds or extensions will not be offered in any circumstances.

  • Your valid membership card must be provided at the time of purchase to avail of member benefits. It cannot be used retrospectively in any department.
  • A parking area is provided for cars, bicycles and motorbikes. The car park may only be used if members are visiting Montalto Estate. If a member leaves they must take the vehicle with them. Failing to do so, we reserve the right to have it clamped.
  • Management accepts no responsibility for possessions damaged, lost or stolen on the premises.

  • Management reserves the right to cancel membership without liability if a member is found to be in breach of these conditions.
  • Management reserves the right to make changes to these terms & conditions at any time without prior notice.

Shop Returns Policy

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says:

Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected lifespan of your product you’re entitled to the following –

  • If your goods are faulty, you can get an immediate refund (up to 30 days)
  • If it can’t be repaired or replaced, then you are entitled to a full refund in most cases (up to 6 months)
  • If the goods do not last a reasonable length of time you may be entitled to some money back (up to 6 years)

You do not have a legal right to a refund or replacement because you change your mind, but we will always do our best to help. In such an instance, we request that –

  • If goods are unwanted or not fit for purpose, they are returned unused and in their original packaging
  • A receipt must be presented upon return
  • If a receipt cannot be presented, we reserve the right to refuse return or on certain occasions refund with store credit

Condition of returned items:

Any return is subject to the following conditions –

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • Your item must be in the original packaging, unless there is a manufacturer defect
  • Orders which are cut, made to measure or mixed to your requirements will not be exchanged or refunded

Returned items are eligible for a full refund, however if we find the item has been used and not in the original packaging, a 20% restocking/administration fee may be deducted from the total amount paid.

Shop & Café Gift Vouchers

Shop and Café gift vouchers cannot be returned, or otherwise redeemed for cash. When a gift voucher is redeemed the remaining value will be returned as a standard transaction.

Price Adjustments
Within 14 days of the original purchase, a one-time price adjustment will be issued when an original receipt is presented.

Statutory Rights
Your statutory rights are unaffected by this policy.
